Greenwich Prime Meats

Location: 100 Bruce Park Avenue, Greenwich, CT 06830

Phone: (203) 861-6328

Hours: Open 7 days a week 9:00 am-7:00 pm

Menu: 6 out of 10

Primarily a place to buy raw meats for cookouts, Prime Meats offers a select number of sandwiches to purchase.  Their menu consists of a Tidbit sandwich, Steak sandwich, chicken parm, hamburgers, grilled chicken cutlet, and breaded chicken cutlet.

Service: 10 out of 10

The staff is only made up of two to three guys but they get the job done.  Each one of them is more than willing to start conversation with the customers and they double check to make sure every order is cooked the way the customer wanted.

Seating: 0 out of 10

Again because of the fact that it sells a lot of meat for people to cook on their own, there is no seating available at Prime Meats which leaves the customers’ mouths watering while they drive home before eating their sandwich.

Food Quality: 10 out of 10

Prime Meats is the proud home of the best steak sandwich in Greenwich.  The Tidbit wedge is an absolute “can’t miss” which comes with fried onions that are out of this world.  If you are a big fan of a good steak sandwich, Greenwich Prime Meats is definitely the right choice.

Price: $$ (5-15)

The prices are mildly expensive considering the menu but customers do not mind paying a little more because the food quality is so good.  The sandwiches are all $9 and cheese can be added for 50 cents more while the hamburger costs $5.75

Parking: 7 out of 10

Prime Meats shares a parking lot with several other stores but parking is rarely an issue.  It is real easy to get a spot, run in and run back out of the store in no time.

Atmosphere/interior: 5 out of 10

Prime Meats is a place that does not need a great inside atmosphere because of its main purpose of selling uncooked meats.  However, customers do not seem to mind as they keep coming back.
